Who am I ? Well, I am Jepan Mihai and I can be reached using the contact form of this website. What I do ? I suppose this is the interesting part, since we define our character by what we do. So, I can begin by saying that I have started working online since 2004 and I have developed a lot of project in this time, but most of them are owned by a companies. Recently I started developing some personal projects ( you can find out more in the portfolio section of this website ) and I intend opening few more in the future.

Web development

I have learned many things along the time and I still am learning ( as we all do ), stepping through all the phases of web - from design to Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. Allthough I have knowledge of many softwares and development, I really enjoy talking about Search Engine Optimization. I have done many experiments and I have been involved in many projects that made my view over the internet larger and larger each day.

Participating in discussion forums on the SEO subject turned out to be a good sollution of getting documentation and explanation regarding on page optimization and web promotion in relation with the so called promotion techiques. But I have also learned to choose the important and useful part from the articles written on SEO and SEM subject. Not all the time you can trust on what others say and if you can not see a solid test/experiment working as written, you should run your own experiment. I do think that it is better safe than sorry, if that is what you are thinking about, though I like the risks sometimes. It only depends on the case, if the risk is not too high and the result is too good to say no, then taking some chances can be benefic.

Conclusion

In order to conclude this "introduction article" I would like to say that being part of the internet development is a great thing. Having the chance of understanding how the system works and of understanding how Search Engine work can improve the overall aspects of the interaction between the visitor and the web page is the key for development. Today, placement in Search Engine Result Pages has became a "must do" in development of web, having its own myths and success stories.
